Working Student or Bachelor Thesis Student – Value Stream Analysis, Simulation & Production Optimization

Continuous growth led to new production sites in Tiengen and Radeberg, supported by a global network of offices. Since 2003, as part of the BBC Group, BBC Cellpack Electrical Products has thrived under agile leadership - employing around 300 people and delivering trusted solutions worldwide.

We are looking for a technically oriented student to support the recording, analysis, and optimization of our value streams.The goal is to create a robust current-state analysis using Lean methods and to develop an optimized future-state concept based on digital simulations and a potential pilot line.

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis of the current production state (Lean methodology)
• Data preparation & modeling
• Simulation & optimization
• Pilot concept & implementation planning

Your Profile

• Studies in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of Lean methods (e.g. VSM, 5S, waste analysis)
• Technical understanding of production processes, material flow, and manufacturing systems
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) and ideally simulation software
• Analytical, structured working style with a high level of accuracy in data collection and modeling
