This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance and scalability of our infrastructure, while supporting modernization initiatives and providing expert-level operational support.You will act as a technical authority for virtualization and compute platforms, collaborating closely with infrastructure, storage, networking, and security teams.Your tasksDay-to-day management of VMware and DELL-based virtualization infrastructure – monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and firmware.Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement virtualization solutions that meet the organization's requirements.Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across teamsWork with cross-functional teams to integrate VMware solutions with other infrastructure components and technologies.There's a lot of space to grow in Capgemini. Sure, that's the most important part – remember still, we got your back when you want to shine!Your profileWorking and design experience with VMware vSphere management (vCenter, ESXi hosts, Virtual Machines) on expert level (six years of hand-on experience) – you should know what it is, how it works, how to keep it working and how to automate it.Advanced experience with hardware management – virtualization relies upon physical equipment, after all.Willingness to learn & proactive approach – find solutions on your own (learn), listens carefully to client’s needs (listen) and keep the systems running (proactive approach).Scripting skills to help automate repetitive actions (e.g. PowerShell, Bash or Python)Working knowledge of English – you'll be using it every day to communicate and advise, you must be able to do that without problems!What You'll love about working hereWell-being culture: medical care with Medicover, private life insurance, and Sports card.
