We are 100% remote with flexible PTO and unlimited mental health days.  📌About the role We are seeking a senior UX design professional to lead and elevate the user experience for our flagship products.  This role will focus heavily on UX strategy and execution, with responsibility for shaping user journeys, conducting customer interviews and UX research, and translating insights into intuitive, effective product workflows. This role requires equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on craft. You will work closely with cross-functional partners and lead the UI team to ensure thoughtful, research-driven UX is consistently implemented across our products. The ideal candidate brings experience leading design functions within product teams and has a strong instinct for how users interact with complex systems. Success means genuinely engaging with users to understand their engineering workflows, investing time to learn the industrial domain context, and translating complex technical requirements into clear, usable interfaces.  📜Required Skills  8+ years of experience in UX research and design, with demonstrated ability to lead design functions within product teamsSenior-level experience designing complex B2B and enterprise products, with comfort navigating highly technical domains (e.g. engineering and manufacturing workflows, P&IDs) and synthesizing many interconnected systems into cohesive user experiences Strong research skills including customer interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative dataExperience interpreting analytics and designing data collection strategies to inform UX decisionsPortfolio demonstrating design leadership for complex, data-heavy, or technical productsProven ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly and engage meaningfully with specialist usersSelf-directed curiosityExcellent communication skills for presenting research findings and design rationale to cross-functional teams, including business, product, design & engineeringProficient in English language (C1) 🎯 Preferred Skills Experience with products serving engineers or other technical specialistsFamiliarity with graph databases, map visualizations, complex data relationship interfaces, etc.Experience establishing UX research practices or designing during rapid growth phasesBackground in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or process engineering domains  🧩Responsibilities Lead UX strategy and execution for our flagship productsConduct customer interviews and user research to understand how engineers and technical users interact with industrial facility dataDesign and execute research plans to capture insights from new and existing users at critical adoption milestonesEstablish feedback loops using analytics, in-app surveys, user notifications, and other data collection mechanisms to continuously inform UX decisionsSupport the design of core interaction patterns around selection, contextual details, data exploration, and navigation through highly connected information spacesPartner closely with product management and engineering to shape user journeys that balance technical constraints with user needsLead and collaborate with UI team to ensure research-driven design is consistently implementedInvest time learning the industrial engineering domain to build credibility with users and design solutions that fit their mental modelsSynthesize qualitative research and quantitative data into actionable design recommendations and strategic directionCreate wireframes, prototypes, and low fi designs that communicate the vision and the detailsAdvocate for users while understanding business constraints and technical realities  More about Cerebre  🚀We are cross-functional collaborators.  We blend manufacturing process knowledge with software and big data engineering expertise to create value in physical settings We are experienced.  We are armed with industry-leading experts in numerical simulation, combustion, power, computational fluid dynamics, and chemical process modeling We are serious builders.  We develop our platforms using leading practices in IT/OT architecture, OT security, AI architecture, ML Ops, and Platform engineering
