suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable energies.
Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets - while simultaneously minimizing their risks.

We’re a team of more than 50 people, combining a warm, supportive team culture with true startup drive. Following our successful Series A, we’re expanding our team - and looking for an experienced incident & operations specialist to build the foundations, structures, and processes of this newly formed function as we rapidly scale and onboard more assets each month. 

Your mission

• Monitor trading alerts and dashboards, investigate anomalies, and drive quick, priority‑based resolution.
• Coordinate seamlessly across Tech, Trading, Operations, partners, and customer technical contacts with clear, fast communication.
• Execute manual trades when automation is limited and support new asset onboarding during testing and ramp‑up.
• Create and update incident tickets, ensure follow‑through, and document actions and outcomes cleanly and reliably.
• Improve playbooks and processes to boost scalability, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Customer Success, Product, and Tech to feed operational insights into product and system improvements.

Your profile

• You have strong situational judgment from high‑tempo environments like Trading, Tech Ops, Control Room Ops, Incident Management, or similar roles
• You think analytically and in systems, quickly interpreting complex asset and market behavior, spotting anomalies, and making clear priority calls
• You stay calm and structured under pressure, managing several high‑impact incidents in parallel
• You’re fluent with monitoring and alert‑driven tools (e.g., Grafana) and understand simple automation logic, incl. automated trading behavior
• You communicate clearly and directly, especially in urgent situations, and work smoothly with technical partners and customer contacts
• You work with precision and ownership, following rules, documenting cleanly, and acting with a service‑oriented mindset
• You learn fast, especially when it comes to energy markets, automated strategies, grid basics, and asset performance metrics
• You operate confidently in German and English (C1) and can join a 24/7 on‑call rotation in Hamburg
