About the project

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans for web based and device-based applications/features (social media applications and their software features)
• Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop based)
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes
• Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-10 years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking
• Experience in test management, defect management activities and related tools
• Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross functional teams and stakeholders (biz, dev, infra, security etc)

Optional

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, pytest)
• Experience with social media application testing
• Knowledge of social media application features, system integrations
• Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments
• Familiarity with social media applications, platforms and media is highly desirable
