Remote (Europe) | Occasional travel to the UKStart: ASAP | Contract: 12 months (strong chance of extension / long-term)About the roleWe are looking for a highly experienced Technical Program Manager who operates comfortably at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and executive communication.This role goes far beyond classic program tracking. You will act as a technical orchestrator and translator, aligning complex engineering initiatives with business priorities across infrastructure, cloud platforms, automation, and large-scale system integration.You will own technical programs end-to-end — from early discovery and architectural alignment through execution, delivery, and post-launch optimisation. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and leadership.What you’ll be responsible forTechnical Program OwnershipLead large, multi-stream technical programs with significant architectural and operational complexityTranslate high-level strategy into executable technical plans and predictable delivery frameworksAcquisition & Platform IntegrationAct as the technical point of coordination for newly integrated organisations or platformsDrive dependency mapping, risk assessment, and structured technical status reporting (SITREPs)Provisioning & AutomationOversee provisioning, deployment, and internal automation workflowsEnsure engineering execution aligns with corporate standards, scalability goals, and long-term roadmapsOperational ExcellenceRun quarterly and long-term initiatives such as:cost optimisation and efficiency programsroadmap execution and dependency burndowntooling and delivery framework improvementsStakeholder CommunicationServe as the primary communication bridge between engineering teams, leadership, and non-technical stakeholdersProduce clear, structured reports and maintain continuous alignment across distributed teamsWhat we’re looking forExperience7+ years in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or similar senior technical leadership rolesProven experience managing complex technical workstreams across multiple teamsTechnical BackgroundStrong technical literacy — you don’t need to code daily, but you must speak engineering fluentlyComfortable discussing:cloud infrastructure & clustersvirtual machines and networkingAI-enabled systems and modern platformsCommunication ExcellenceExceptional written and verbal English (C1/C2 level required)Ability to formalise complex technical topics into executive-ready communication
