Technical Architect (Teradata)

Designing the target Teradata-based data warehouse architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.term maintainability.
Performing database performance tuning, optimizing queries, and ensuring efficient and reliable data retrieval.
Gathering and refining requirements, as well as proposing technical solutions in close collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders.
Acting as a Product Owner or Technical Lead within agile teams, driving technical direction and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Solid commercial experience working with Teradata and Oracle relational database systems, including performance optimization, database tuning, and solution architecture.
Deep hands‑on background in Data Warehousing (DWH), SQL, and Business Intelligence solutions built with ETL tools.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, business analysts, solution architects, and enterprise architects to ensure consistent alignment of data architecture with project goals.
Strong practical understanding of software engineering and data engineering best practices, including scalable design, maintainability, and performance considerations.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies, and tools, as well as adapt to evolving project requirements.
Good command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
