In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.To build, expand and lead the Frontend Engineering team responsable for building a state-of-the-art mission managment software for STARK´s unmanned systems.

Your tasks

• Lead the Frontend development team in close coordination with backend and UI/UX;
• Advise program lead on frontend considerations and create plans for execution;
• Build up Frontend engineering team;
• Create user interface for complex mission management software;
• Formulating tickets from overarching stories;
• Create easy to learn, reliable to use and attractive user interface;
• Dive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems;
• Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not;

Your profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer science or similar relevant fields;
• 8 - 10 years of experience in Frontend development;
• Defense background is huge plus
• Experience leading a team of software engineers;
• Building a team from scratch will be considered is a huge plus;
• Experience leading projects end to end.
• Expert use of Typescript
• Experience in automotive and/or defence industries;
• Prior experience working with 3D user interfaces, AI assistance or AR/VR implementation is considered a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel as needed.
