About the project
Your responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Contribute to further development of automations and tooling.
- Collaborate on performance and reliability issues involving massive amounts of data and information.
- Work with our customers (e.g., Google Compute Engine and other Google Cloud teams) to understand requirements, debug problems, and anticipate needs.
Our requirements
- PhD degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with software development with the use of SQL and advanced algorithms.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Optional
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with one or more of the following: data analysis, big data, f1-sql, log analysis, machine learning.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
