Senior Technical Game Designer (Unreal)

They are looking for a Senior Technical Designer with experience in console game development to join their studio. Start: ASAPLength: 10 monthsLocation: Must be in Stockholm minimum 3 days per week As a Senior Technical Designer, you’ll be working closely with quest designers, other designers, key stakeholders and other craft representatives to create a high-quality hand-crafted quest experience for our players. You will be a core part of the game development process for one of the biggest game franchises in the world – from ideation and design to implementing and polishing. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise to bring quests and gameplay elements to life – from idea to implementation Design and implement Quests in Unreal Engine (5) Be responsible for iterative design and implementation work as well as bug-fixing for quests Test, evaluate and balance your designs in cooperation with peers and other crafts and stakeholders within the project Collaborate with your team and project on creating the best experience for our players Communicate rationales, design choices and feedback, within the team and project Document your work, making sure it stays up-to-date and is shared within the project Qualifications At least 4-5 years of experience with strong knowledge of Technical/Quest/Game design Experience with game development and working in Unreal Engine (5) Knowledge of game design and understanding of contextualized designExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form (in English), to support your vision Ability to work together with other designers, engineers and other stakeholders The desire to be part of a creative and highly collaborative team and ability to work with feedback and direction. Narrative Design experience is a plus Experience with, and an understanding of what makes our game what it is also considered a plus
