What you will do

• developing the technical design within existing application architecture at the component or service level
• reimplementing visualization components end-to-end based on Angular, Open Layers and Python
• validating if requirements can be implemented in a new software architecture
• implementing features and change requests including requested analysis and design and coding activities and required documentation
• creating the necessary unit tests and component integration tests to ensure the compliance to the specifications
• implementing DevOps activities in the product team to streamline development and operations
• ensuring product-specific operations activities for all MR product environments
• assessing the operational impact during Major Releases and Releases of Satellite systems
• consulting, concepting and developing application components and services (frontend, backend and data processes) and use of Azure DevOps tools for source code management and documentation of project progress
• maintaining, bug fixing, adapting and improving of existing software and applications with regard to the new requirements

Requirements

• fluency in English
• at least 5 years of programming experience, 3 of which on Angular, TypeScript and C#
• strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript
• proficiency in backend development using C# and .NET Core
• very good knowledge of UI design HTML and CSS
• good knowledge of Azure PaaS Services (App Service, App Insights, Azure Sql Server)
• experience with agile software development (SCRUM)
• ability to work well in a scrum team (using tools like Microsoft Teams&DevOps)
• experience with GIT and the GIT workflow
• understanding of security (authentication, authorization, securing APIs)
• conceptual knowledge of REST architectures

Nice to have

• use of cloud components in Microsoft Azure
• creation and use of DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Microsoft Azure DevOps
• knowledge of the Reinsurance industry
