What you will do

As a Senior Product Owner, you will drive the development and evolution of a data layer that powers AI, Big Data, and Generative AI initiatives. This role requires a strategic mindset, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver scalable, high-quality data products.

How you will get the job done

• defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data layer in Azure Cloud, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advancements
• collaborating with data engineers, AI/ML teams, and business stakeholders to build and optimize data pipelines, platforms, and services that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions
• managing the backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of scalable, high-performance data layer in various forms (i.e Data Hubs, relational databases etc)
• overseeing compliance, security, and financials standards for data management, ensuring adherence to best practices
• ensuring smooth integration of AI and Big Data capabilities within the broader IT landscape
• monitoring key performance indicators and driving continuous improvements based on feedback and evolving requirements
• facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions

Requirements

• fluency in English
• university degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in AI, Big Data, or Data Engineering domains
• strong understanding of data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-based data architectures
• experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and managing product backlogs
• excellent communication skills to align diverse teams and stakeholders
• ability to balance competing priorities and drive pragmatic, value-driven decisions
• experience delivering data-driven products that support AI, analytics, and operational applications
• familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security best practices

Nice to have

• experience with AI/ML product development, Generative AI, and LLM-based applications
• knowledge of any public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data engineering tools (Databricks, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• background in software engineering, MLOps, or data architecture
• understanding of ISO 27001, SOC2, or other compliance frameworks
