Senior Platform Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a long-term project with one of our clients — a well-established provider of safety solutions for the logistics sector, operating mainly in the US and Canada. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a core Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure.Our client operates in US timezones (EST), but remains flexibile in terms of working hours, requiring only 4h overlap for the purpose of business meetings & syncs (max 20:00 Polish time).ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop cloud -Azure and Kubernetes infrastructures and platforms including designing networking, autoscaling and disaster recoveryImplement and develop automation & configuration management through Terraform and Ansible Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure and services that support application delivery Ensure efficient management of cloud assets through automation and observability tools.Provide continuous re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability, and security.Implement security. governance and compliance solutions like secret & identity management, tagging enforcement, organizational policies-as-code (OPA/tfsec)Bridge the gap between development and operations by automating repeatable delivery practices.Partner with SRE/CloudOps on patching, vulnerability remediation, platform deprecation, and incident readiness.Vendor/managed-service coordination (Canonical, Cybertech); support contract renewals with technical input.RequirementsMin. +5 years of experience as Cloud, Infrastructure or DevOps/ Platform EngineerStrong experience with Azure & Kubernetes infrastructure management including development of large-scale and distributed systems.Maintaining and developing Helm charts and Kubernetes manifestsBuilding reusable and scalable infrastructure components and automation (Infrastructure as Code) via Terraform and Ansible. Ability to share your knowledge, experiences and opinions on the forum via technology demos / brainstorming sessions Willingness to take initiative, challenge the situation and drive projects to completion without direct supervisionExperience with developing & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions)Fluent verbal and written skills in Polish and English (C1+)Familiarity with tools (Copilot studio, Github Copilot Enterprise, SafeGPT) will be a plusBasic scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowershellWillingness to work afternoon hours, with availability up to 8:00 PM CET (Polish time).We offerFlexible contract currency of your choice (PLN/USD)Flexible work arrangements and remote work optionsProfessional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentRegular company events and integrations (meetups)Missing anything you like?
