Senior Java Developer

Developing cutting-edge online and in-store retail platforms,
Cooperating with client from retail sector,
Working in an agile environment with tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Miro,
Implementing business requirements provided by the client,
Tackling complex technical challenges,
Ensuring the highest quality of code through testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards,
Analyzing and optimizing application performance to ensure scalability and efficiency,
Supported by Team Leader and got development opportunities as Tech Leader or Solutions Architect.

Ready to work from the client’s office in Krakow,
10+ years of experience in Java,
Proficiency in object-oriented principles, data structures, and algorithms
Deep understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security,
Experience in designing and consuming RESTful web services,
Expertise in Java Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate for database interactions,
Knowledge of building and managing microservices,
Familiarity with building tools like Maven and Gradle,
Proficiency in writing unit tests using JUnit, TestNG or Spock,
Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes,
Have Azure-specific skills such as:
a) Azure Services: understanding of Azure services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps,
b) Cloud Deployment: experience in deploying and managing applications on Azure
Knowledge of setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions,
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra,
Understanding of security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding standards,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams,
Upper intermediate/Advanced English (B2/C1),
Work from Poland and a work permit are required.
