Your responsibilities

• Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well-tested and easy to maintain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the direction of Boxed’s engineering, keeping customer interests at the core.
• Work across the backend chapter to uphold standards, best practices, and promote innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues collaboratively.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert.
• Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.

Our requirements

• Solid practical and theoretical knowledge of Go software development.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Kubernetes / Docker.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS (deployment and configuration).
• Experience working on highly secure applications.
• Proven success delivering in an agile environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of how to translate business objectives into data-driven insights.

Optional

• Experience with PHP and frameworks like Slim.
• Familiarity with Workflow Engines.
• Experience with E-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
• Experience with Java.
