Senior Data / Software Engineer (Azure, Databricks)

We are looking for a Senior Data / Software Engineer to join long-term enterprise projects in the insurance and automotive sectors. You will be part of a high-impact team working on modern cloud data platforms, helping clients transform legacy SQL-based systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures on Azure.This is not a pure analytics role — we are looking for an engineering-driven mindset, with strong focus on data processing, software quality, and platform scalability.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable data pipelines on AzureMigrate complex SQL-based logic into modern Data Lake architecturesRefactor and optimize data processing workflows (ETL/ELT)Translate legacy business logic (stored procedures) into Python / PySparkCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environmentsContribute to data platform architecture and engineering standardsBenefitsMotivizer Benefits Platform to choose and manage all your benefits in one place. We have networking events, coding challenges, and company parties for different occasions.QualificationsUniversity degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar fieldStrong Python & SQL expertise (MS SQL) – ability to understand and refactor complex stored procedures and business logicHands-on experience with modern data platforms – Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, Azure Data stackProven track record in data migration – transforming legacy SQL-based systems into scalable Data Lake architecturesSolid data modelling skills – designing and evolving schemas for both transactional and analytical systemsEngineering mindset – clean code, DevOps practices, and experience working in Agile environmentsFluent English and Polish language skillsAvailability to work hybrid or remotely with at least one office visit per quarterAbout Cluster ReplyCluster Reply is the Reply Group company specializing in consulting and system integration of Microsoft technologies.
