What you will do

We work for the financial industry, and you will play a crucial role in a DevOps approach designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that underlies data-driven decision-making. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data from various sources to support business intelligence, trading and risk management.

The tools and frameworks we use: Azure OpenAI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure DevOps, Databricks, Python, Docker, JavaScript, .Net.

How you will get the job done

• designing and implementing data models and architectures that support financial data management
• developing and maintaining ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources, including market data feeds, customer information systems, and transactional databases
• ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• collaborating with business owners, data analysts and scientists, software engineers, and DevOps specialists to support the development of predictive models and business intelligence tools
• optimizing data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
• working in an international Scrum team

Requirements

• fluency in English
• good knowledge of Azure Databricks
• strong SQL skills
• knowledge of ETL processes/programming
• great communication skills, being an open-minded person who is not afraid of challenges
• at least five years of experience using PySpark and Python with API framework (FastAPI)
• monitoring & Automation: Dynatrace (or similar tools), System Automation
• knowledge of methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• strong software engineering basics like dev tooling (IDE, Git, Docker), code quality mindset and testing
• data modeling for efficient interactive use-cases
• ability and willingness to quickly learn new (and old) technologies
• willingness to travel internationally

Nice to have

• experience in Azure DevOps is a plus
• experience in Front-end development with JavaScript (Vue.js) and .NET
