The project is focused on Change Data Capture (CDC), real-time streaming, and analytics, helping the client handle large volumes of transactional data efficiently.As a consultant, you’ll collaborate with an international, agile team, fully remote from Poland, and help shape the future of a platform relied on by financial teams worldwide.Key responsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using CDC principlesBuild and optimize streaming solutions with Kafka for real-time data integrationDevelop batch and streaming data workflows with SparkCollaborate with architects, data engineers, and product teams to ensure robust and scalable data solutionsTake full ownership of the reliability, performance, and observability of your componentsContinuously improve pipeline architecture, data quality, and team processesSupport analytics and reporting by ensuring clean and structured dataIdeal candidate profile8+ years of experience in data engineering or backend developmentHands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streamingExperience with Spark for batch and streaming processingFamiliarity with relational and/or NoSQL databasesGood knowledge of JavaKnowledge of modern software engineering practices, testing, and CI/CD pipelinesEngineering mindset: proactive, detail-oriented, focused on long-term qualityStrong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) principles is a plusFluent in English (spoken and written)ConditionsLocation: Remote from PolandContract type: B2BDuration: Until end of 2026 (possible extension)Salary: 150-225 PLN/hBenefits: Private medical care, life insurance, AWS certifications, Multisport cardRecruitment stepsCall with a KUBO recruiterTechnical interview with the client teamOffer & onboarding
