Senior Business Analyst and Product Owner with Agile Delivery, Digital Operations Platform

ClientOur client is a global full-service contract research organization (CRO) that specializes in clinical development services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industriesTeamYou will join a cross functional product team that includes a Product Manager, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Engineers, and a UX Designer. The team follows an agile way of working with iterative delivery, regular refinement and planning sessions, and close collaboration with business stakeholders. You will collaborate daily with both technical and business colleagues and coordinate with neighboring teams that own related services.Position overviewYou will work on a Digital Operations Platform that supports business stakeholders in managing core processes, reporting, and decision making. The platform integrates several internal and external systems to provide a unified experience for operations teams and management.Technology stackAgile delivery practices Scrum or KanbanProduct backlog and task tracking tools such as Jira or similarDocumentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence or similarModeling notations such as BPMN and UMLREST based services and APIsData formats such as JSON and XMLResponsibilitiesAct as a primary contact for business stakeholders regarding product features, priorities, and delivery plansElicit, analyze, and document business needs, processes, and rules in a clear and structured wayTranslate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for the development teamOwn and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that items are clearly described, prioritized, and ready for implementationFacilitate backlog refinement, planning, and review sessions together with the Product Manager and the development teamCollaborate with UX specialists to shape user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that reflect business goals and user needsWork with technical team members to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and align on solution approachesDefine and agree on acceptance criteria and support the team in verifying that delivered functionality meets themSupport quality assurance activities by clarifying business scenarios, edge cases, and expected outcomesRequirementsExperience in a Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar product facing role in an IT environmentBackground of at least five years in business analysis, product ownership, or a closely related disciplinePractical experience working with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban in a product team setupProven record of writing clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for development teamsExperience in stakeholder management, including cooperation with business users, managers, and technical teamsAbility to model and analyze business processes using notations such as BPMN or similar approachesUnderstanding of system integration concepts, including REST APIs, data flows, and dependencies between servicesNice to haveExperience in a pure Product Owner role, owning a product roadmap and release planningBackground in domains such as operations, finance, ecommerce, or enterprise platformsFamiliarity with UX discovery practices such as user interviews, usability testing, or journey mappingExperience with additional analysis or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similarKnowledge of event driven architecture concepts and message based integrations
