To strengthen our team, we are offering the following temporary full-time position (40 hours per week) as part of a parental leave replacement starting on June 1, 2026:

Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/x)

In your future role, you will be part of the Quality department in the Quality Assurance team and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. You will work closely with various departments, in particular Purchasing, to jointly support the sustainable and long-term growth of YOGI TEA in Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Analytical approval of raw material offers and finished product batches
• Initiation and evaluation of QA and food fraud monitoring analyses
• Creation and updating of raw material specifications
• Maintenance of raw material data
• Participation in raw material tastings, including preparation and documentation
• Participation in the evaluation and approval of new raw materials and recipes
• Support of supplier audits
• Creation of IFS-compliant work instructions for the QA department
• Daily exchange of information with the purchasing department and the Italian production plant regarding analysis data and its evaluation

What do we expect?

• Degree in ecotrophology or food chemistry or
• Vocational training as a chemical-technical assistant with 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Practical experience in quality assurance in the food industry desirable
• Self-starter with a structured, meticulous approach to work and organizational skills
• Responsible and resilient character who likes to work quickly and accurately
• Committed and goal-oriented team player with a high degree of flexibility and independence
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Excellent German skills and very good business English
• Resume in English
