Project Engineer (all genders) Oil & Gas Applications

Experience in the oil and gas industry required / experience in project engineering and managing sub-projects

Your responsibilities:

• Support and execute international projects in the oil & gas sector, taking responsibility for assigned project phases, sub-projects or work packages
• Support and coordinate cross-functional project teams (engineering, quality, procurement, logistics)
• Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project schedules and provide regular progress reports to customers
• Organize and manage Kick-Off Meetings (KOM), Project Initiation Meetings (PIM), and ongoing project meetings
• Oversee the activities of packagers and logistics, ensuring timely delivery and necessary permits
• Participate in final inspections with the Quality and Technical departments
• Manage post-delivery activities, including resolving punch list items and non-conformities
• Handle customer claims through successful commissioning

Your Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; recognized project management certification is a plus
• First professional experience in project engineering, project coordination or similar roles, ideally in manufacturing, oil & gas, power plant construction or a comparable industry
• Project management skills and experience in leading international projects in the oil and gas sector
• Familiarity with rotating machinery, pump and compressor systems is advantageous
• Fluency in English is required; German and Arabic language skills are a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical and project management skills and the ability to influence and lead teams across different regions
• Willingness to travel international
