Product Development Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch improvements.
  • Plan and control projects, including objectives, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, milestones, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects meet performance, quality, cost, and time-to-market targets, securing robust industrialization and market introduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and obsolescence management for products in series life.
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making among stakeholders and external partners, resolving conflicts and aligning priorities.
  • Apply and improve project management standards, tools, and processes, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
  • Provide clear reporting on project status, KPIs, risks, and decisions to management and governance bodies.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; additional certification in Project Management (PMI, IPMA, Prince2, Agile) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in project management in an industrial environment, ideally in product development
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects across design, industrialization, manufacturing, logistics, and market introduction
  • Experience with series life-cycle management (continuous improvement, cost reduction, obsolescence) is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, product development processes, and manufacturing constraints
  • Knowledge and practices of AI tools is an asset
  • Skilled in project management tools and structured problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to motivate cross-functional teams and manage trade-offs
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented with strong customer and market focus
  • Fluent in English; position based in Tuttlingen with occasional travel
