Middleware Engineer (IBM MQ & IIB/ACE)

Since the foundation of Be Poland in 2013, we have been continually expanding and customising our spectrum of services.We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to manage and support IBM MQ and IIB / ACE middleware environments within a complex banking infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance message flow across multiple financial applications. This position requires on-call support every second week to maintain operational continuity and respond to critical incidents.The role is fully remote.Responsibilities:Administer, configure, and maintain IBM MQ and IIB / ACE environments across multiple platforms and environments (development, testing, production).Monitor system performance, availability, and message flow to ensure stability and resilience of integration services.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to messaging queues, channels, brokers, and integration components.Support deployments, upgrades, and patches of middleware components while minimizing downtime and risk.Implement and maintain security policies, certificates, and access controls for MQ/IIB infrastructure.Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure seamless communication between systems.Provide on-call support every second week to handle production incidents and ensure continuous service availabity.Requirements:MQStrong experience with IBM MQ clusters, installation, migration, and configurationAbility to set up new MQ environments for project deliverySolid knowledge of RDQM installation, configuration, and maintenanceSkilled in diagnosing MQ issues, troubleshooting, and providing RCAExperience with MQ SSL certificate setup and managementFamiliar with MQ tools (MQMON,RFHUTIL)Understanding of messaging concepts (pub/sub, point-to-point) and MQ objectsKnowledge of ITIL processes and handling SRs, incidents, changes, and problems within SLAAbility to produce technical documentation and support deploymentsIIB / ACESupport for IIB/ACE environments on Linux/SolarisSupport for deployed message flowsAbility to set up new IIB/ACE environmentsExperience with SOAP/REST APIs and XML/JSONFamiliar with SSL/TLS and certificate configurationsHands-on experience with message flow development and supportProficiency in ESQL, Java, and integration patterns.Our offer:Competitive remuneration on B2B contractAccess to Mindgram – mental health & well-being platformFree gym at Q22Personal development – internal online / onsite DevTalksReferral bonus programInternational environment
