Your essential tasks and responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Engineer – Forklift Design & Development, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s product development efforts. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the whole vehicle and components design, development, and technical research of electric ride-on and electric pedestrian warehouse forklifts
• Conducting in-depth studies on drive systems, hydraulic systems, control systems, and structural design to meet regulations and standard requirements in safety, efficiency, and environmental performance, and reflect them in the product design process.
• Participating in the entire product development process including conceptual design, cost accounting, prototype development, test verification, and production preparation.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, testing, quality control, procurement, and marketing to ensure manufacturability and sustainability of design solutions
• Conducting market research and analysis, proposing product improvement directions and development needs, and enhancing the technical level and market competitiveness of products.
• Providing technical support and training to team members to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team

Your profile:

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of design and R&D experience in electric ride-on warehouse forklifts and electric walk-behind warehouse forklifts, with in-depth knowledge and practical experience in related fields such as forklift electric drive, hydraulic system, battery technology, etc.
• Proficient in the design and development process of electric ride-on warehouse forklifts and electric walk-behind warehouse forklifts
• Familiar with forklift's battery system, hydraulic system, power system and other related core technologies
• Excellent CAD and engineering software skills (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
• Experience in product testing, validation, and optimization based on real-world applications
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Strong team orientation, communication skills, and a high level of personal responsibility
• Innovative mindset and the ability to solve technical challenges in a solution-oriented manner
