Marketing Director Automotive Radar (f/m/d)

Introduction

OEM customers to deliver next generation L2+, L3 and L4 autonomous driving and handle more complex use cases in upcoming driving safety regulation.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an energetic and well-connected Marketing Director to drive our business and roadmap for next-generation automotive radar solutions. In this role you will work closely with our architecture team, program management and global sales, thereby solving current and future ADAS challenges by leveraging our rich portfolio of radar products and roadmap products which you will be defining.

• Build strong Tier1, OEM and eco-system relationships, being our face to the customer
• Drive for adoption of NXP solutions in customer ADAS systems
• Define next-generation automotive radar product and solution roadmap
• Own business cases, customer enablement plans, product launches and life cycle management
• Direct investments and design-win activities to maximize business growth
• Deliver complete system solutions collaborating with NXP engineering and eco-system partners
• Drive competition analysis and benchmarking for best positioning of our solutions
• Define messaging, Marcom plans and PR activities for ADAS products
• Train internal and external customers with critical knowledge of NXP ADAS solutions
• Travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25% of time

Skills Required

• Proven ability to win over senior technical and business stakeholders, including internal engineering teams, customers and eco-system partners
• Comfortable managing ambiguity inherent in new product definition & business development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers and senior NXP management.
• Experience working in a geographically and culturally diverse environment
• Team player with a passion for business success and drive for results

Experience

• 10+ years experience in business development in semiconductor, Tier1 or car OEM industry
• Well-connected in the Automotive eco-system, including OEMs, Tier1 & eco-system partners
• First-hand experience with ADAS sensors (Radar, camera, LIDAR) silicon, SW & systems
• Understanding of ADAS SW requirements including AI, security & sensor fusion
• In-depth understanding of future car architectures, impacting systems & sensor requirements
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior technical and business leaders
• Extensive experience in defining and enabling complex processor, transceiver and SoC solutions
• Navigating global, cross-functional and cross-organizational teams towards a common goal
• Proven track record in delivering business growth and strong technical acumen

Education

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with more than 10 years of industry experience
