Your tasks

Role Summary

As Lean Manager Europe, you will take a key role in driving operational excellence across our 11 production sites in Europe. In this position, you will functionally lead and coordinate Lean Management activities across the region, shaping the strategic direction while ensuring alignment and execution at plant level.

Beyond developing and implementing our Lean strategy, you will play a crucial part in advancing the digitalization of Lean, integrating data-driven and digital solutions to further enhance efficiency, transparency, and performance throughout our European operations.

Your Challenge:

* Define the lean management strategy for Operations Europe and ensure alignment to the Corporate lean management and regional strategy
* Ensure alignment between the lean roadmaps of all plants and the regional strategy
* Develops and tracks a solid scorecard to measure the performance of each production plant on a daily basis
* Continuously push for improvements regarding space usage, material flow and lead times
* Steer training and development needs regarding the M+H Production System (MHPS)
* Develops, coordinates and facilitates workshops (Kaizen, Hoshin, VSM, 5S, SMED, Layout, …) to improve production and logistic efficiency
* Coordinate best practice sharing and exchange regarding the above-mentioned areas of responsibility across the region
* Develop a high performing team of lean managers and experts owning the lean mindset in Europe

Your profile

Your Profile

• Experience: Successfully completed University degree in (Industrial) Engineering or in a similar field

• Work experience: At least 5 years of experience in a related industry in a similar function

• Professional experience:

  • Expert knowledge of LEAN tools
  • Familiar with required production processes (e.g. pleating, welding, assembly)
  • Knowledge of M+H product and manufacturing processes is preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, SAP experience preferred

• Language: Business-fluent in English

• Personality:

  • Hands on mindset and strong shopfloor orientation
  • Strong analytical thinking & problem solving skills
  • Able to operate in a matrix organization, building a strong network to achieve common goals
  • Travel is required
