This role requires a hands-on professional who remains an active developer while also being able to mentor, motivate, and guide other engineers. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills and takes ownership of architectural decisions and code quality across the product.The role involves joining a project for our strategic client – one of the largest manufacturing companies in Sweden, offering IoT solutions and asset management.The company is well-established in the market, but even so, the work culture is not like in typical corporations. Teams are small and autonomous, engineers are given extensive freedom of action, and remote-first & async-first approach is promoted (spotify-derived model). The Scandinavian work culture also places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, which is promoted and shared in both the project itself and among rest of Relout teams🔷Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and guide to a cross-functional team consisting of backend/frontend/QA engineers developing microservices and microfrontends based on Typescript/NodeJS/Vue.js for core business components.Design and develop cloud native applications based on AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridgeWork closely with product owners and scrum masters  to align on business requirements, goals and roadmap as well as SRE and Architects to follow security & reliability standardsCultivate a respectful and supportive environment for all team members to effectively leverage the potential of the team.Coach and mentor team members to increase their impact through regular performance development and feedback conversations.Remain hands-on and continue being active as a fullstack developer to support the team with its tasks and responsibilities, and understand their needBe a team player – focus on providing resources and information your team members need to achieve their goals and get their stuff doneImplement and develop infrastructure automation & configuration through AWS CDK and TerraformWork with continuously delivered (CI/CD), distributed and asynchronous systemsDesign and implement automated unit/integration/performance test🎯Requirements:Min. +8 years of experience as a full stack developer, with recent projects in TypeScript & Vue.js and documented experience as a team/tech leader.Experience in engineering and implementing distributed, asynchronous systems and applications. Experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, EvenBridge) & Persistency (DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS).Creating and running test automation with holistic approach including system, performance,  smoke and E2E tests (full testing pyramid) on Frisby/CypressAbility to provide mentorship and help others expose their potential via straight, fact-based, and constructive feedback.Ability to share your knowledge, experiences, and opinions on the forum via technology demos/brainstorming sessions.Willingness to grow and learn with a passion for creating new solutions.Fluent verbal and written skills in Polish and English.Willingness to participate in an on-site onboarding in Kraków, lasting approximately 3–4 working days.Willingness to work from the Wrocław office once per month.⭐What we offer:Flexible contract currency of your choice (PLN/EUR/SEK)Flexible work arrangements and remote work optionsProfessional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentOpportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in the dairy industryRegular company events and integrations (meetups)Missing anything you like?
