Introduction

Archtexx Consulting GmbH is seeking a Lead Cutover Manager to join our growing SAP transformation practice.

Your tasks

In this key role, you will take ownership of planning and executing cutover activities for S/4HANA programs, ensuring seamless migration from legacy systems with a focus on FICO and Ariba. You will lead cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and safeguard business continuity during critical go-live phases.

Tasks

As a Lead Cutover Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and managing the end-to-end cutover strategy for S/4HANA programs with emphasis on FICO and Ariba.
• Leading cutover planning workshops with business, IT, and system integrators to define scope, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Coordinating activities across functional (FICO, Ariba, MM, SD, etc.), technical, and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Managing data migration sequencing, technical downtime planning, and validation checkpoints.
• Monitoring readiness, risks, and issues with a structured cutover governance model.
• Providing leadership and escalation management during cutover rehearsals and go-live.
• Driving hypercare transition and ensuring stability in the post-go-live period.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP project delivery, with at least 3+ years in a Cutover Manager or equivalent role.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA programs, ideally with exposure to FICO and Ariba modules.
• Strong understanding of system landscapes, data migration, and business process integration.
• Experience coordinating across multiple workstreams, vendors, and geographies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on problem-solving mindset with ability to manage high-pressure go-live scenarios.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.
