We are looking for a Junior Line Manager to support our engineers in their professional growth and to ensure effective resource management across technology projects. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technical teams, Project Managers, Consultants, Recruitment, and the Learning & Development department, focusing on employee development, resource planning, and recruitment support.Ideal profile:Has experience working closely with software engineers (e.g., as a former engineer, tech lead, or technical team coordinator).Understands the specifics of working in an IT/engineering environment.Demonstrates strong listening skills and collaborates well with multiple stakeholders.Is confident in decision-making - even in challenging situations.Is well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Communicates clearly and professionally with both internal teams and clients.Fluent in Polish, both spoken and written.Fluent in English (at minimum B2 level).Willing to work from our office in Szczecin (Technopark).Main responsibilities:Act as a people manager for a group of engineers, conducting regular 1:1 meetings and supporting their professional growth.Collaborate with the Learning & Development team and manage the training budget for your team.Work closely with Consultants and Project Managers to assemble project teams with the right skills and experience.Collaborate with Project Managers on planning rotations and replacements, balancing engineers' interests, business goals, and project profitability.Make decisions regarding the future allocation of engineers: new project assignment, reservation, or availability for other teams.Initiate recruitment processes, participate in managerial interviews, and make final hiring decisions.Support engineers in planning their development paths, including reskilling or technology transitions.What do we offer:Support from an experienced team of Line Managers.Collaboration with experienced Tech Leaders and Project Managers.Development budget at your disposal.A friendly and supportive work atmosphere.Spyrosoft's benefits package (including sports card, insurance options and private medical care).
