YOUR MISSION

Fund Analysis and Monitoring

• Conduct full due diligence on hedge funds under the supervision of an Investment Manager and in line with defined procedures. This includes quantitative analysis, collection and interpretation of qualitative information, verification and on-site visits.
• Document the analysis process and outcomes in our database (ratings, summary fund reports and quantified risk parameters).
• Regular monitoring of approved and invested funds as well as portfolios of funds on relative performance, risk exposures and organizational changes, updating documentation and making proactive investment recommendations.
• Maintain and expand our hedge fund database and keep the covered fund universe updated and appropriately categorized.

Strategy Research

• Conduct regular hedge fund strategy research in co-operation with an Investment Manager. Collect and interpret supporting economic research, resulting in clearly stated and quantified strategy related investment recommendations and expectations.
• Sourcing new investment ideas via database screening, building and maintaining industry contacts, reviewing relevant publications and attending industry events.

General

• Contribute to our monthly reports and newsletters.
• Enhance existing analysis tools with a particular emphasis on quantitative fund analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Investment Managers and Portfolio Managers on a day-to-day basis.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, a quantitative or related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience or exposure to Hedge Funds or Hedge Fund of Funds.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong team spirit; reliable, hard-working, and eager to learn.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Results oriented, with an independent working style.
