IBM i Software Developer

Design and development of networked applications on IBM i using RPG and Embedded SQL
Enhancement and maintenance of international merchandise management systems
Implementation of cross-platform communication using modern interface technologies (e.g., RESTful services)
Enforcement and further development of a service-oriented architecture approach
Creation of technical concepts and solution designs within software development projects
Execution of module and integration tests, as well as support of acceptance processes
Documentation and quality assurance of developments
Provision of 3rd-level support for productive systems

Successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
Strong experience in procedural programming
Solid expertise in RPG and Embedded SQL
Proven experience within IBM i environments
Good understanding of modern programming concepts and software architecture principles
Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking skills
High level of solution orientation and quality awareness
Fluency in English and Polish (German language skills are an advantage)
Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office
