Your tasks

Your terrain As Head of Engineering Surveying, you will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the division. You will lead a team of around 50 employees at various locations and actively shape the future of our company. You will develop our engineering surveying services in a targeted manner, ensure the economic stability and growth of your division, be responsible for budget targets and bring new impetus to our market strategy. Through your proximity to customers and projects, you will ensure that our solutions are technically outstanding, economically viable and customer-oriented.

What core tasks await you:

• Strategic and operational management of the Engineering Surveying division; implementation of targeted measures to achieve objectives.
• Management and development of a team of approx. 50 employees, promotion of professional development and contact person: at eye level.
• Expansion of existing business areas, identification of new market opportunities and potential by actively monitoring and evaluating technical innovations and current developments in engineering surveying and integrating them into the strategic direction in a targeted manner.
• Acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships to strengthen partnerships in the long term.
• Supporting requests for proposals and tenders together with the project management service unit; contributing technical and economic expertise.
• Putting together effective project teams, promoting cross-divisional cooperation; supporting the project management service area for successful project completion.
• Full economic responsibility for the division and active participation in economic optimization.
• Working closely with heads of service departments and other managers to coordinate company-wide developments.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal company requirements.

What you bring to the table - expertise meets personality:

• Degree in geoinformatics, surveying, geodesy, spatial planning or a related technical field.
• Several years of management experience with personnel responsibility, ideally in an engineering or planning environment.
• Sound knowledge of current market developments and requirements in engineering surveying, as well as the ability to use specialist knowledge profitably for business development.
• Negotiating skills in communication - internally, with customers and partners - even in complex situations.
• High level of initiative, assertiveness and entrepreneurial vision.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills for confident interaction in international contexts.
• Willingness to change: You are motivated by change and process adjustments are the driving force behind your actions.
