Your responsibilities
- Perform SRE duties for Big Data platforms built on open-source technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and HBase
- Monitor platform health and manage incidents following defined runbooks and SOPs
- Execute cluster maintenance activities based on documented installation and validation procedures
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes
Our requirements
- Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Hadoop platforms and core Hadoop ecosystem components
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Hadoop platform services and applications
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience writing Ansible playbooks for automation
- Strong scripting skills using Shell and Python
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux system internals
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
