Tasks

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Global Product Manager to take ownership of our Laser Projector product portfolio, defining our value proposition and driving go-tomarket strategy. The Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful product development and commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, preferably worked in the Laser Projector Market & Industry combined with excellent business acumen and leadership skills. The position will be based in Freiburg Germany and will require approx. up to 30% global travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the product life cycle, from concept to global launch plans and rationalisation for Laser Projector Products/Applications.

• Manage product business performance ensuring product line meets or exceeds the target revenue, profitability and growth targets (P&L accountability).

• Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap to enable long-term growth and sustainable success for product line.

• Independently conduct market research and analysis (incl mekkos) to identify market size, growth rates and drivers and emerging opportunities in the Laser Projector industry.

• Conduct VOC’s to identify customer needs and segments, derive value propositions and develop product positioning and messaging.

• Translate user requirements into technical specifications and collaborate strongly with engineering teams and cross functional teams throughout the product development & improvement process.

• Execute all key New Product marketing deliverables incl. pricing strategy definition and go-to-market plans.

• Actively support the global sales organisation by developing marketing collateral, sales tools, and trainings.

• Lead and manage customer centric activities together with the Sales Team like i.e., VOC, product performance metrics, market feedback, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Owns business case creation for purpose to justify investment decisions • Stay ahead of new industry/market/application trends and technology related to Laser Projector technology products.

Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, photonics, business or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, highly desired in the Laser Projector industry / market.

• Strong technical/commercial background and understanding of Laser Projector technology principles and applications/markets.

• Proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles from concept to commercialization.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global set up and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

• Strategic thinker and strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Hands-on attitude with strong go to mentality.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Fluent in English and German.
