We aren't just building to a checklist; we act as long-term product partners, taking collective product ownership through continuous development and collaborative workshops. From our fully remote hubs in Norfolk and Łódź, we build innovative, scalable software where quality and longevity come first. We’ve grown quickly on the back of a solid client base, and we have a raft of exciting, long-term projects on the horizon. Our core stack is Python/Django/Django REST, HTMX, Alpine, and Tailwind CSS. Increasingly, we're also building lightweight serverless applications using Hono paired with AWS Lambda and CDK/SAM-based infrastructure stacks — and we're actively embracing AI tooling to sharpen how we develop and deliver software. We're hiring two mid-level developers to join a small, collaborative remote team. The RoleYou'll work across a variety of client web service projects, internal DevOps tooling, and our own growing suite of SaaS products. You'll be involved in the full development lifecycle — from architectural discussions through to testing, documentation, and maintenance.Day-to-day, this includes stand-ups, sprint planning, and retros, as well as keeping your agile board up to date and logging time at the end of each day.We favour developers who can operate across the stack — from well-structured Django backends and REST APIs through to front-end interfaces — and who are comfortable adapting as our toolset evolves.Technical RequirementsCore (required):Python 3.x and Django (≥ 2.2)Django REST FrameworkSQL — Postgres or MySQLGit / GitHubRESTful API integrationFamiliarity with agile workflows and project tools (GitHub Issues/Agile Boards, GSuite)Increasingly important (desirable but not essential):Hono or similar lightweight JS/TS frameworks for serverless front endsAWS — Lambda, CDK, SAM, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code toolingAI-assisted development — comfort using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar for code generation, task automation, and productivityTailwind CSSHTMX / Alpine.jsPydoc / Sphinx for documentationWe're not expecting every candidate to tick every box — if you're strong on the Django side and genuinely curious about the serverless and AI tooling space, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll DoBuild and maintain full-stack web applications and backend APIsWrite clean, structured, testable code in line with our internal standardsAuthor automated tests and contribute to documentationPackage reusable features for use across projectsPrepare release versions for our QA teamLeverage AI tooling to improve development speed and qualityContribute to architectural decisions and technical direction(Senior roles) Mentor junior team membersWhat We're Looking For2+ years' experience in a professional software development team (required)Strong, demonstrable Django knowledge — whether gained commercially, through open-source contribution, or serious personal projectsExperience building or contributing to commercial or open-source productsStrong pragmatism and a product-building mindsetConfident problem-solver when things don't go to planWillingness to stretch technically and pick up new toolsFluent English (required)Valid work authorisation for the UK or Poland, relevant to your location (required)A relevant industry qualification (e.g. computer science degree, apprenticeship, or recognised professional certification) is looked upon favourably but is not requiredBenefits192 hours of annual leave + Public Holidays (England & Wales for UK Employees, Polish for Poland Employees)Three additional days paid leave over the holiday seasonPerformance bonusFlexitimeCasual dressCompany eventsAnnual salary reviewMacbook Pro providedOther home-working equipment can be provided if neededSchedule: 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.
