We are looking for an experienced Digital Manufacturing Architect to lead enterprise-wide digital transformation across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on modernizing shopfloor systems, standardizing MES platforms, and driving Industry 4.0 initiatives across multiple plants.You will be responsible for defining architecture, integrating OT and IT systems, and enabling scalable, secure, and efficient manufacturing solutions. The role requires close collaboration with global teams, plant engineers, and external partners to accelerate innovation and improve operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and define end-to-end architecture for MES ecosystems across the enterprise.Design and enforce architecture standards, integration patterns, and governance models (aligned with ISA-95 and Purdue Model).Lead OT/IT integration across systems such as PLCs, SCADA/HMI, MES, and ERP.Architect integrations with industrial platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Ignition, Kepware).Drive Industry 4.0 strategy, including IoT, automation, and smart factory initiatives.Define standards for machine connectivity, data models, and asset structures.Maintain centralized inventory of machines, PLCs, and OT assets.Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems and reduce technical debt.Collaborate with global IT, engineering, and plant teams to scale digital solutions.Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and validate new technologies in production environments.Ensure security, compliance, and governance across OT/IT environments.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments (preferably automotive).Strong experience with MES systems (e.g., traceability, OEE, scheduling, quality).Deep understanding of shopfloor systems:PLCSCADA / HMIMESERPExperience with OT/IT integration and industrial connectivity.Knowledge of ISA-95 and Purdue Model architectures.Experience with industrial platforms and tools such as:Ignition (Inductive Automation)KepwareSiemens / Rockwell (Allen-Bradley)Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (IIoT, AI/ML, robotics, advanced analytics).Experience with scripting (Python and/or Bash).Familiarity with modern development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, .NET/C#).Broad knowledge of enterprise architecture (cloud, infrastructure, security, data platforms).Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.Nice to HaveExperience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).Experience with automation technologies (RPA, workflow orchestration).Experience integrating shopfloor systems with cloud and data platforms.Experience working in global, distributed environments.Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong technical leadership and strategic thinking.Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.High level of ownership, accountability, and decision-making capability.Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
