DevOps / Run Engineer - Deployment ExpertOverview of the positionWe are looking for a Deployment Expert (REM Engineer) to support the deployment lifecycle and operational stability of applications within the S2i ecosystem. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring that non-production environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT) remain operational and stable while also supporting deployment pipelines and environment management activities.The role combines DevOps practices, deployment automation, and L2 operational support, requiring strong experience in CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and deployment tooling.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure the availability and operational stability of S2i non-production environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT).Work closely with the Run Team to monitor and maintain environment readiness.Manage and resolve incidents related to environments and deployment processes.Participate in software deployment lifecycle activities, including:pipeline designdeployment automationrelease orchestrationWork with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, XL Deploy, and XL Release.Provide L2 operational support to ensure the proper execution of applications across environments.Support troubleshooting activities related to deployment failures or configuration issues.Collaborate with IT teams within Azqore to ensure smooth integration and operational continuity.Key Requirements3 to 6 years of experience in deployment, DevOps, or application operations roles.Experience managing deployment pipelines and software release processes.Experience supporting multi-environment application landscapes.Experience handling incident management related to deployments or infrastructure environments.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, XL Deploy, and XL Release.Proficient in Unix scripting.Java (basic to intermediate knowledge) is preferred.Understanding of COBOL (basic knowledge) and Eclipse Visual COBOL (nice to have).Nice to HaveBanking knowledge is not mandatory but considered a plus.French – nice to haveOther DetailsWorking hours: Standard 09:00 – 18:00. On-call duty: Required. The consultant will interact with various teams including Run Teams, Application teams, IT Operations teams, and Azqore internal technical teams.
