About the project

Your responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end streaming data pipelines (Kafka → Databricks)
• Develop scalable, high-quality data products in a cloud environment
• Contribute to architectural decisions (data modeling, governance, access, lineage)
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across regions
• Apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted development

Our requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark in production environments
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, event-driven architectures)
• Solid programming skills in Python / PySpark and SQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Familiarity with AI-supported development tools (e.g., Copilot, Codex, Claude)
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholders
• Very good English - B2+

Optional

• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, and data governance concepts at scale
• Experience designing data serving layers (APIs, SQL endpoints, reverse ETL)
• Background in IoT, time-series data, or manufacturing environments
