Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud solutions that align with technical and business requirements as defined in Cloud infra document.
- Configure and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Writing scripts and leveraging automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in managing cloud resources.
- Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures related to cloud infrastructure, as well as preparing reports on system performance and incidents.
- Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, containers, and databases.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and automated cloud deployments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement cloud migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition from on-premises to cloud environments as per defined practices in cloud infra design doc.
- Refactor legacy applications for cloud-native deployment, leveraging modern architectures and DevOps practices.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using YAML scripts, Shell scripts, Tasks etc. to streamline cloud-based application deployments.
- Implement robust security controls, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Orchestrate workflows using tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Ansible to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Stay abreast of cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Pursue relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) to deepen your expertise.
Our requirements
- A relevant Bachelors or higher-education degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or related roles.
- Preferred certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of the Azure platform, services, and features, including Azure Compute, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Good Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Expertise in cloud security, including configuring security protocols, managing security services, and ensuring compliance.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins) for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, VPNs, and routing.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong communications skills.
