Technical or trade qualification in a relevant discipline., 5 - 10 years of experience as a Buyer, including exposure to both local and international markets., Proven track record managing procurement for large-scale or complex projects., Strong technical aptitude with in-depth knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and supply chain items., Demonstrated ability to achieve quality, cost, and schedule objectives with a strong focus on deliverables., Solid understanding of engineering concepts and interdisciplinary dependencies., Expertise in procurement, contracting, pre-operational verification, and commissioning methodologies., Familiarity with ISO 9000 and ISO 19011 standards., Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach., Working knowledge of SmartPlant or similar systems is an asset., Comprehensive understanding of project execution, including materials management and scheduling., Full compliance with all applicable regulations and legislative requirements.
