emagin is seeking four experienced consultants to support a large-scale financial data and regulatory reporting initiative. The client is within the banking industry and this is based in Finland. The assignment is split into two focus areas: Data Handling & Harmonization (2 consultants) and Regulations & Definitions (2 consultants), working closely together in an end-to-end delivery context.Start: 2026-02-06End: 2026-12-31Location: Helsinki, Finland, onsite min 2 days/weekData Handling & Harmonization consultants will work with large financial datasets, define and document data structures, and design ETL flows across applications. The role includes contributing to functional E2E solution design covering controls, analysis, reporting, and sign-off, as well as documenting metadata to meet regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, drive formal sign-off, and apply AI-driven approaches to improve efficiency and enable future use cases.Regulations & Definitions consultants will focus on translating regulatory frameworks into clear, well-documented functional specifications. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to detail regulatory definitions, ensure alignment with requirements such as COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, CRR, and BCBS239, and bridge regulatory expectations with technical implementation in reporting and calculation solutions.ProfilesFor both roles, we are looking for consultants with 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong proficiency in SQL and work with large databases (e.g. Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL), experience working in regulated financial environments, and working proficiency in JIRA. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently across business and IT stakeholders are essential.
