Automotive Support Trainer / Training Development (m/f/d)

What We Expect:

You will be part of a small, international team that develops and delivers training programs designed to specifically enhance the skills of ISUZU distributors and service teams. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with creativity, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering the long-term development of others.

The position offers a balanced mix of structure and flexibility and is particularly suited for professionals who value variety, autonomy, and collaboration.

A key component of your role is the development of practical training materials. Approximately 30–40% of your working time will be dedicated to conducting live train-the-trainer sessions and creating video tutorials.

Travel requirements are moderate, accounting for about 10% of workdays, including occasional business trips to Japan.

Tasks

• Developing and updating technical service training programs for ISUZU distributors, OEMs and dealers
• Aligning and coordinating training content with ISUZU Japan and the European distributor network
• Continuous development and optimization of training methods (classroom and digital formats)
• Supporting the daily operations of the Training Center (e.g., preparing training rooms, welcoming and assisting participants)

Profile

• A completed qualification as a Master Craftsman (Kfz-Meister), State-Certified Technician (staatlich geprüfter KFZ-Techniker) or equivalent
• Practical experience in diagnostics, repair and service, gained in a dealership or workshop environment
• A genuine interest in training and education; prior training experience is helpful but not required
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken
• Strong self-organization, curiosity, and a proactive mindset for continuous learning
• A driver’s license is required, and a commercial driver’s license would be an advantage
