About the position

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a growth journey – now looking for an Import and Export Agent to our Workshop Equipment sub-segment.

WAECO Germany WSE GmbH is a subsidiary of the Dometic Group AB from Sweden. WAECO is an established premium brand in the automotive segment with a strong brand DNA and is regarded as a technical and qualitative trendsetter and benchmark for the global A/C service and maintenance industry. WAECO has been a recognized market leader in this field for over 50 years and works closely with workshop customers and the automotive industry; and a leading provider of workshop equipment with a clear focus on innovative solutions in the field of automotive air conditioning technology.

Your main responsibilities

• Coordination and processing of import and export transactions
• Processing of customs and export documents according to national and international regulations
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities
• Monitoring and ensuring the timely delivery of goods
• Control and optimization of supply chain processes
• Maintenance and administration of master data in the ERP system (MS D365)
• Compliance with compliance and security regulations in international trade
• Support with cost and risk analysis for international transports

Your profile

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

• Completed training in the commercial sector (preferably as a freight forwarding clerk, industrial clerk or comparable qualification)-
• Experiences in import and export. Logistics and/or foreign trade
• Knowledge of customs clearance and international trade regulations
• Experience with MS D365
• English and German (spoken and written), other foreign languages are an advantage
• PC knowledge (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP-System)
• Basic business understanding
