We are looking for YOU as APU Manager (m/f/d) for our location in Ingolstadt.
These challenges await you:
You ensure the perfect launch of this new plant in association to a project development conducted in a development center
You ensure the successful completion of milestones and coordinate with the mother plant and the respective departments
You are responsible for the production activities of your autonomous production unit (APU), ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery, and motivation targets are met, especially during ramp-up
You build, manage and develop your team, ensuring onboarding, training, and skill development
You lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and performance
You ensure compliance with standards, including health, safety, environmental rules, and equipment maintenance
You deploy and monitor the V5000 system to support efficient operations
You manage budget and resources to meet financial and operational objectives
You contribute to project industrialization, ensuring smooth startups and layout optimizations
You inspire us with:
You have a degree in Engineering (Bachelor or Master) in production, industrial, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics, with solid experience in manufacturing
You have several years of hands-on experience in production, ideally including site transfers, new line ramp-ups, or greenfield projects
You are experienced in lean manufacturing principles (5S, TPM, Standard Work, 8D, etc.) and know how to apply them in daily operations
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly in a production environment
You are proficient in MS Office and comfortable using data to monitor performance and drive improvements
You have excellent communication and team management skills, and you are able to lead, coach, and motivate your team effectively
You speak German and English fluently, enabling smooth coordination across functions and sites
