Role Description

• Regular interaction with customers and scheduling of your on-site services
• On-site rotary kiln inspection and hot kiln alignment
• Isolate and identify rotary kiln mechanical problems
• Create analytical summary reports
• Communicate findings and produce deliverables to customers in timely and professional way
• Maintaining customer relationships with appropriate on-site contacts
• Assist in training and mentoring of new employees
• Perform equipment walk downs and gather information when requested

Qualifications and requirements

• Rotary kiln inspection, maintenance and alignment skills
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret results and make recommendations
• Experience in troubleshooting and correction of mechanical problems.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting, condition assessment, and corrective action recommendation including hot kiln alignment as necessary, of customer rotary kiln.
• Good understanding of cement plants machinery operation especially rotary kiln
• Experience working under stressful working conditions
• Strong computer skills; both Hardware and Software, plus MS Office software skills
• High skills in surveying with Total station & Theodolite
• At least 15 years experience working in cement industry with minimum 5 years working as rotary kiln specialist.
• Experience in maintenance of rotary kiln including girth gear, tyre and rollers replacement.
• Experience in rotary kiln shell replacement.
• Ability to work independently
• Travel up to 60% worldwide, as required
• Master or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language.
• Good German language skills
