This is a rare chance to get in early and help build Shopify’s enterprise business across EMEA—right as Europe’s largest brands are making the switch to modern commerce. As one of the first Enterprise Account Executives dedicated to this segment, you’ll shape how global organizations experience Shopify, influence our go-to-market strategy, and see your impact from day one.

This role is tailor-made for entrepreneurial builders with a growth mindset—people energized by ambiguity, excited to create new paths, and passionate about leaving a legacy. You’ll partner with senior decision makers at major enterprises, co-create solutions, and set new industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Help shape and define the enterprise sales motion for Shopify EMEA—bring a builder’s mindset to everything you do.
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with large enterprise customers, serving as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that deliver value for both the customer and Shopify.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and long-term adoption of Shopify’s enterprise solutions.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities, leveraging Shopify’s full suite of products and services.
  • Deeply understand Shopify’s platform, the enterprise landscape, and each organization’s business priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within Shopify, advocating for their needs and influencing our product direction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—solutions engineering, partners, product, legal, and more—to deliver exceptional outcomes for enterprise clients.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales strategy, processes, and culture—your input will help shape how we operate at scale.

Your profile

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English required; native or bilingual proficiency in another major European language is highly desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years of full sales cycle experience within a technology/software environment, with a strong track record in enterprise.

  • Proven experience closing and managing large, complex deals with major European or multinational organizations.

  • Extensive experience in strategic outbound prospecting and building strong, multi-product pipelines.

  • Executive presence, business acumen, and a consultative approach to solving complex customer challenges.

  • Ability to creatively structure and close multi-product deals with large enterprise accounts.

  • Demonstrated success in acquiring net-new enterprise customers and building high-trust executive relationships.

  • Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-changing environment—able to navigate ambiguity, iterate quickly, and build processes where needed.

  • Strong work ethic, resilience, and drive to exceed ambitious goals.

  • Comfortable with technical products and eager to become a true Shopify product expert.

  • Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, with engaging storytelling skills.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit—excited to help build, not just operate, and ready to challenge the status quo.

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA as required.
