As our People & Culture Manager, develop innovative ChoViva products, collaborate across teams, optimise formulations for manufacturing, conduct scale-up trials, and provide technical support.

We couldn’t ignore the problem. The chocolate industry has long contributed to environmental harm and human exploitation. We are unwilling to stand by this, as we believe in protecting our planet and the people that create the foods we love… So we created the world’s first 100% cocoa-free chocolate alternative, ChoViva, which delivers a rich, roasted flavour with a solid snap, smooth melt, and subtle sweetness - all while being climate-friendly!

At Planet A Foods, we are on a mission to create dramatically more sustainable food ingredients, and thus save millions of tons of CO2 emissions each year. And cocoa is just the beginning…

A Taste of What to Expect

  • Develop new and innovative ChoViva products that meet consumer needs, from concept to market launch, ensuring product quality and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations and procurement to create new products and implement new processes
  • Optimise product formulations and processes for large scale manufacturing and improve product performance
  • Coordinate and conduct scale up trials in-house and at co-manufacturing sites
  • Provide technical support and training to our customers and partners, including on-site production line trials

The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience

  • Passion for chocolate and confectionary products with a strong hands on mentality;
  • Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Process Engineer or related area with experience in industry;
  • +3 years of experience in product development, and formulation in the confectionery industry, with a focus on chocolate and strong understanding of chocolate processing;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers;
  • Availability and willingness to travel to customer and co-manufacturing sites as needed;
  • Fluent in English and German.
