We’re looking for a Co-Founder to take ownership of business operations, strategy, and scale-up at Attacan — a full-service electronics development company with its own growing product portfolio and strong manufacturing network in Asia.
This is not just another early-stage startup: we already have more work than we can handle, a six-figure backlog, and a proven business model. But now we need someone on the business side to help build the company we know it can become.
Our mission
Attacan helps startups and SMEs bring hardware ideas to life — from first sketch to finished product at the customer’s doorstep. We develop electronics, design enclosures, manage production in Asia, and advise our clients throughout the entire product journey.
Now, we want to scale this operation:
Build subsidiaries for specific verticals
Offer integrated development + production services
Serve more startups with flexible models (equity, royalties)
Help SMEs outsource entire product manufacturing to Asia
Systematically identify and co-develop next-gen products with established companies
We are laying the foundation for a family of companies that offer full-service, fast-to-market innovation in hardware.
Attacan GmbH is a full-service electronics development company based in Germany with a trusted supplier network in Asia, mainly Vietnam. We help startups and SMEs develop their hardware ideas and bring them to market — faster, smarter, and better.
We combine deep technical knowledge with practical manufacturing expertise and business understanding. Our vision is to evolve into a group of companies, each focused on a specific industry vertical or service line, tightly integrated through shared infrastructure and values.
We currently are a team of 6 (3 FTEs), with a growing project backlog and several products in the pipeline. We’ve built this without marketing. With almost no workforce. Just imagine what we could do with you on board.

Tasks
Lead and execute Attacan’s business, finance, and organizational strategy
Build and manage scalable structures for project, client, and team management
Develop pricing and partnership models for early-stage startups and SME clients
Actively shape spin-offs, subsidiaries, and new service offerings
Build up business infrastructure and hiring processes as we grow beyond 10, 20, 50 people
Represent Attacan in discussions, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem events
Work side-by-side with the technical founder to create a sustainable, profitable company group
Requirements
Significant experience in entrepreneurship, business development, finance, leading administrative roles, or self-employment
Strong interest in the tech sector, particularly in hardware and electronics
Degree from a renowned university in economics, administration, business informatics, business and engineering, or similar
First-hand understanding of what it means to build a company from the ground up, ideally with experience navigating the early chaos, securing first clients, building infrastructure, and managing limited resources
Based in Germany, with a valid working permit
Fluent in English, capable of navigating international business contexts
Passion for tech and hardware: you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to love what we build
High commitment: you're ready to work from 8AM to 10PM and wake up motivated to build the next thing
Long-term thinker: You plan 5 years ahead, not just 5 weeks
Comfortable with low initial salary but high equity stake and growth upside
Ready to work at eye level with the founder: every opinion counts
Nice to have
German, Mandarin, Vietnamese or Japanese language skills
Experience in the Asian hardware supply chain or production management
Experience in founding, funding, or growing a startup
Familiarity with hardware or embedded product development cycles
Willingness to relocate near our office in southern Germany
