Teamleader - Layout (m/f/d)

Your assignment:

• You will lead a small team of specialists in the field of layout
• You create full custom analog and mixed-signal layouts, including all aspects such as matching, routing, power, signal integrity, area, etc.
• You perform parasitic extractions and optimization of the layout to minimize the parasitic effects
• You are proactively searching for innovative, physical design and layout solutions
• You will manage both internal and external resources according to project requirements and priorities
• You will guide your team members, set individual goals for yourself and your team, and strive for continuous improvement of the methodology
• You will communicate with all stakeholders about all aspects of layout design
• You are committed to improving methodologies and tools both internally and towards EDA vendors

Your Profile:

• You hold a master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with knowledge of semiconductor physics and semiconductor engineering
• You have several years of experience in layout design
• You are a team player with experience in leading teams
• You have extensive expertise in standard layout entry and physical verification tools
• You have basic knowledge of the use of the Linux command line and scripting
• Experience in the Synopsys Tool Suite (Custom Compiler, IC Validator, StarRC) as well as in P&R (e.g. Synopsys ICC, ICC2) is desirable
• You have an open-minded, proactive personality and enjoy guiding others and learning from others
• You have strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
