Introduction

To strengthen our space team in various R&D projects we are looking for

Student assistant (m/f/d)

for various areas of activity. In particular, we focus on the realization and further development of our small satellite technology (CubeSats).

Activities

• Software development in Java (if necessary smaller parts also in MATLAB)
• Extension of a formation simulation framework based on the open-source framework Orekit
• Other fields of activity according to interest and need

Prerequisites

• Good programming skills in Java
• Previous experience with Orekit is an advantage
• Programming knowledge in MATLAB is advantageous
• Ability to work in a team and act independently, willingness to learn
• Interest in long-term employment (at least 1 year)

We offer

The positions are set at 30-50 h/month and are remunerated at the standard salary rate of the University of Würzburg. A longer-term employment is aimed at.
